A little step by step SMD soldering:

The purpose of this board is to allow USB devices to be written in host-side Python so that one workstation can fuzz-test the USB device drivers of another host. There are also a ton of other cool things you can do with your own Python scripts.

The Freescale FRDM-KL25Z Platform comes in a nice little package and at a great price, but it does not come with much needed headers for utilizing shields.

I'll start my advantures with this board by soldering on the 4 different headers. These are the headers that I ordered:
